Mauritius: Helicopter – The Magical (45 Minutes) from Triolet

Take off from the north and soak up this Magical flight from Triolet with a 40-minute flight covering all the main attractions of the Island !! After a warm welcome by our team, you will have a moment to relax in our lounge before boarding.

As you take off and head for the skies you will see the sprawling city of Port-Louis and bear witness to its daily routine. You will fly above the sixteen silos at the Moulin de la Concorde and the ships docking in the capital marking the start of a great adventure. Alternating between green spaces and lagoons, your flight heads towards Île aux Bénitiers a small island just off the peninsula of Le Morne.

With so many things to see don’t forget to keep your eye on the Albion Lighthouse!

The beautiful Underwater Waterfall, an optical illusion, will soon attract your full attention. This illusion is created by sand movement and silt sediments that are dispersed by powerful underwater currents creating a kaleidoscope of colours.

After taking in all the different shades of blues and greens, we head back towards land crossing Chamarel, the gorges of Rivière-Noir revealing the nature of its raw state and the Tamarind waterfalls which appear to be mere thin curtains that hide in an endemic forest.

Then, you will approach Le Pieter Both, one of the most iconic mountains on the island, and witness this mountain that led to a famous legend of a man who broke a pact with the angels and his head was subsequently transformed into a boulder sitting on top of the mountain!
