Embark on an unforgettable adventure from the West Coast of Mauritius with our shared Whale-watching and Dolphin expedition.
The peak whale season is from August to October, this journey promises an extraordinary encounter with these majestic marine giants in their natural habitat. While sightings are subject to the whims of nature, our expert crew ensures an informative and enriching experience as we navigate the azure waters in search of these awe-inspiring creatures.
After a warm welcome and a comprehensive briefing by our knowledgeable crew, we set sail on our adventure.
This ensures you’re fully prepared for the remarkable day ahead, filled with anticipation for the sight of Dolphins and Whales breaching in the distance.
As we head off on our journey we will encounter Dolphins that have come into the lagoon to feed and train their young how to hunt. The most common species found in Mauritius are the Bottlenose and the Spinners. You can observe these aquatic specialists from the boat or jump in for a much closer look.
After spending some quality time with the Dolphins it is time to head further out to sea in search of the gentle Humpback or powerful Sperm Whale, each sighting offering a profound connection to the marine world and a glimpse into their fascinating behaviours.
After a morning filled with discovery and wonder we head back to shore where you will disembark filled with cherished memories of encountering Dolphins and Whales in their natural habitat, snorkelling amidst vibrant marine life, and enjoying the tranquillity of Mauritius’ western coast.
