A scenic drive of about 2 hours 30 minutes will transport you from the bustling city life to this serene marine haven.
Gansbaai has earned its reputation as the former White Shark Capital of the World. While the majestic White Sharks are a sight to behold, the most frequent visitor on our trips is the Bronze Whaler Shark, also fondly known as the Copper Shark (Carcharhinus brachyurus).
Even though the Copper shark steals the show quite often, let it not deter your enthusiasm. Gansbaai still remains one of the best places in the world to catch a glimpse of the elusive White Sharks in their natural habitat. So, there’s always a good chance that you might spot these magnificent creatures as you plunge into the blue.
That being said, we take utmost care to ensure your safety and the well-being of these marine species. Our operations are dependent on tides, weather, and sea conditions. Therefore, it’s important to note that timings can change to align with the natural environment and provide the best possible experience.

Light meals before and after the excursion as well as bottled water on board. Shower upon return. Diving suits, booties and masks are provided. Life jackets and a waterproof jackets are also available on the boat.

It can be cold at sea, so some warm outer wear is recommended. It is best to layer clothes so that one can change according to the weather. Bring your bathing costume if you are going to dive. Wear light comfortable foot wear (sneakers or action foot wear)
