Imagine an experience so thrilling, it will leap to the top of your unforgettable memories list! Picture yourself diving into the clear blue waters off the Robberg Peninsula, sharing the underwater world with playful seals. This is not just a dive; it’s a once-in-a-lifetime marine animal encounter.

Seals, creatures awkwardly charming on land, become incredibly graceful once they are in their aquatic habitat. They swim with a fluidity that is captivating, their large, intelligent eyes following your every move. They are curious, coming closer for a peek, blowing bubbles, and swirling around in the water. The interaction is as enchanting as it is exhilarating.

Located just a 10-minute boat ride from our dive centre, the Seal Colony is an aquatic treasure. The dive is shallow, between 4-6m, making it suitable for divers of all skill levels. Even if you are not a certified diver, do not worry. You can join us for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving course. This comprehensive one-day training includes a lecture, a pool session, and of course, the seal dive.

Safety is our top priority. The seals are friendly and inquisitive but like any animal, they could react if harassed or provoked. On your arrival, our experienced seal guide will sign you in and assist you in fitting your snorkel and scuba gear. We have changing rooms and lockers available on site for your convenience.

Once everyone is ready, we embark on a short stroll on the beach to the boat. Here, the skipper and the seal guide will provide a detailed briefing on boat procedures and what to expect during your seal scuba experience. The boat ride to the Robberg Nature Reserve is a short but scenic one.

The real thrill begins when you leap into the water accompanied by your guide for an exhilarating 30-minute scuba dive with the seals. After an unforgettable dive, you will return to Pro Dive where we offer changing rooms and shower facilities for you to freshen up.

So, gear up for an extraordinary marine adventure, where you will not just observe but interact with the graceful seals in their natural habitat. This is not just a dive; it’s a memory in the making.
