White Water Rafting Experience Day Trip

Welcome to the exhilarating world of Gravity Adventure, your trusted guide for over 15 years on the spectacular Palmiet River. We’re more than just an adventure company; we’re privileged licensed operators, offering you a thrilling, authentic, and safe white water rafting experience.

Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or a nature lover, Palmiet River white water rafting is the perfect adventure. With medium to high water levels, you can experience the rush of navigating the river in two-person inflatable ‘crocodiles’ or larger four-person rafts. It’s an activity that’s suitable for anyone aged 13 or older, providing you have a reasonable level of fitness.

But don’t worry if you’re new to white water rafting. Our highly qualified guides possess an intimate knowledge of the river and its beautiful environment. They’ll provide all the instruction you need to steer your craft safely and confidently.

Safety is our top priority. We provide all the necessary boating and safety equipment, including PFDs (commonly known as ‘life-jackets’) and helmets. And to keep you comfortable in the water, we also provide wetsuits.

We believe in preserving the natural beauty of Palmiet River, and as such, we limit our groups to a maximum of 24 people per day. That way, you can fully enjoy the river’s breathtaking scenery without the crowds. And for larger groups, we can run two rafting groups simultaneously.

The trip price is all-inclusive, covering permits, all equipment, tasty snacks, transport, and the services of our APA qualified guides. Please note that the Cape Nature Conservation fee (currently R40.00 per adult) is not included and payable upon entry. However, if you’re a WildCard holder or staying in the reserve, you won’t have to pay this fee.

We require a minimum group size of six guests for the activity to go ahead. If the group size is not reached, we’ll gladly reschedule your adventure. So gather your friends, family members, or co-workers who are 13 years or older, and join us for an unforgettable white water rafting experience on the Palmiet River.
