With the guidance of our expert leaders, you’ll traverse the dramatic rocky cliffs of the famous Platteklip Gorge, a trail that’s been etched by centuries of geological processes and human footsteps.

As you climb, you’ll be treated to panoramic views that are nothing short of breathtaking. Cape Town’s cityscape unfolds beneath you, framed by the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Beyond the city, the expansive South African landscape stretches as far as the eye can see. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just beginning your journey into the world of outdoor adventure, the Table Mountain hike is not to be missed.

The hike itself lasts approximately 2.5 hours – a perfect morning adventure that leaves the rest of your day free for other Cape Town explorations. And don’t worry about the journey down – a return cableway ticket can be purchased separately online or at the top of the mountain on the day. This gives you the opportunity to soak in the views from a different perspective as you descend in the comfort of the cable car.
