From 09:30 to 12:30, you’ll embark on a thrilling guided game drive through the stunning landscapes of Amakhala Game Reserve. Your open safari vehicle will take you up close and personal with Africa’s iconic wildlife. Expect heart-stopping encounters with the Big Five – lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo – and other remarkable wildlife. Your ranger will share expert insights about the local ecosystem, making your safari not just a sightseeing experience but an educational journey as well.

After the adrenaline-fueled game drive, you’ll be treated to a leisurely and delicious 2-course lunch from 12:30 to 13:30. Savor local flavors and enjoy two local beverages of your choice (with a cash bar available). It’s the perfect opportunity to relax, reflect on your experiences, and soak in the majestic views of the Eastern Cape.

By 14:00, you’ll arrive back at the Day Safari Welcome Centre, and our transfer service will whisk you back to Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha. This well-paced and comprehensive half-day safari offers a taste of the wild without the need for an overnight stay, making it the perfect day trip.
